سرودِ پسِ اندوه

یاس هنوزهم در خدمت

استمرار کبود و سرکش استخوان است.

تو، یادت باشد،همانی  که تنها

باید در خدمت نمک باشی، تنها

در خدمت آن حد آب آلود که تن

معشوق است، تنها در خدمت کودکی

نماز برده به تماشای ستونهایی

که جنگل ساخته ازنور مسین و برف. حتی

همینکه روز رو به پیش زانو می زند، اقیانوسها

و لعل های درهم، هم،

زانو می زنند، دارند زانو می زنند،

شهرها، بزها، درختهای لیمو و مادر،

پزشکان هولناک، زانو می زنند.

مگو که زیبایی ها را می ستایم.

من ستاینده انسانهایم،

پاک و بالنده.

Despair is still servant

to the violet and wild on goings

of bone. You, remember, are

that which must be made

servant only to salt, only
